Honor Woodard, BFA, LMT is a Therapeutic Body Worker, Artist and Dream Worker. A graduate of the Florida School of Massage and Washington University (Bachelors in Fine Art), Honor has been a Licensed Massage Therapist practicing in Georgia, North Carolina and Florida since 2011. A former athlete (soccer), Honor enjoys hiking, paddleboarding and nature in general. She practices Soaring Crane Qi Gong and has pursued other healing, shamanic and visual/expressive arts over the years. It is her desire in all these various practices and in her art work and dream work to facilitate a return to authentic awareness, wholeness and presence. Depending on the needs of each client, her work often combines modalities such as Neuromuscular Therapy, Connective Tissue Therapy, Polarity, Energy, Psycho Physical Integrative Resistance & Release, Biodynamic Cranial Touch, Swedish, Myofascial and Sports massage. She is also available for one on one dream consultations and dream circle facilitation.

Honor continues to be amazed by the immediate and lasting results of the Resistance & Release work in particular. Forging a conscious connection between brain and nervous system and various muscle groups where imbalance is happening, it is effective because it engages our awareness at a deep level. As we learn to regain strength and balance, we train our brain to recognize and be able to re-create what balance and ease FEEL like, creating healthier patterns and behaviors which lead to greater ease and balance and more pleasant sensations in our bodies.

Honor has been making art and photographs for 30 years, and has been a Picture Editor at Sports Illustrated, Backpacker and Outdoor Explorer magazines. She has designed artwork and covers for several books, and her photography and paintings are in collections locally and internationally.
